Case presentation:

• Male.
• 4 y.o.
• Left limp from 2 days ago.
• Fever 38.5oC.

Teaching points:

• To value the hips in childre: pin-hole images are assential.
• Acute lack of perfusion of the femoral head can hbe presen in septic arthritis and osteomyelitis. In these case urgent articula drainage is mandatory.
• Paediatric Nuclear Medicine is related to different diagnosis and bones scan patterns tha in adults.
