This event will present the ongoing IAEA coordination activities on nuclear fuel development, in particular:

• The coordinated research project “Testing and Simulation for Advanced Technology and Accident Tolerant Fuels” (CRP ATF-TS); and
• Fuel Materials for Fast Reactors (FMFR): Standardization of Subsize Specimens for Post-Irradiation Examination and Advanced Characterization of Fuel and Structural Materials for Small Modular Reactor and Advanced Reactor Applications.
