Press Arrangements for IAEA Board of Governors Meeting, 21 March 2011
The IAEA Board of Governors will convene a meeting at the Agency's headquarters starting at 11:00 a.m. CET on Monday, 21 March 2011, in Boardroom A of the M-Building, in the Vienna International Centre (VIC).
Director General Yukiya Amano will brief Member States on the nuclear emergency in Japan following his scheduled trip to the country from 17-19 March. Director General Amano is also expected to hold a press conference in the afternoon. The timing of this press conference will be announced on Monday.
The Board of Governors meeting is closed to the press.

The IAEA Board of Governors will convene a regular meeting at the Agency′s headquarters starting at 10:30 a.m. CET on Monday, 7 March 2011, in Boardroom A of the M-Building, in the Vienna International Centre (VIC).
Director General Yukiya Amano will open the meeting with an introductory statement. His statement will be released to journalists after delivery and posted on the IAEA website the same day. Director General Amano is also expected to hold a press conference at lunch time on 7 March.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will host a meeting next week for nations considering nuclear power programmes to learn how to develop and evaluate their nuclear infrastructure requirements. About 100 participants from 50 nations are expected to join the Technical Meeting/Workshop on the Introduction of Nuclear Power Programmes: Management and Evaluation of a National Nuclear Infrastructure from 8-11 February at IAEA headquarters in Vienna.

The International Atomic Energy Agency's Liaison Office in Geneva is hosting two lunchtime seminars on water resource management and the IAEA's work at its Monaco Environment Laboratories.
The first session, Meeting the Challenges of Sustainable Water Resources Management, will convene on Thursday, 7 October 2010 at the Palais des Nations, UNOG Library (Door B20, Building B 1st Floor) from 13:00 to 15:00.
