Welcome to the IAEA Nuclear Science and Instrumentation Laboratory (NSIL). This lab serves Member States with expertise and training to support the effective utilization of nuclear instrumentation and analytical techniques, with a focus on mobile radiation monitoring, X-ray spectrometry, accelerator technologies, and compact neutron generators. Its spectrum of work ranges from environmental monitoring to materials science to the preservation of cultural heritage.
