The IAEA Lise Meitner Library supports research activities by providing a specialized collection of nuclear information on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and its applications. The joint IAEA/WHO Network of SSDLs was established in 1976 to improve the accuracy of radiation dosimetry. Through laboratories designated by IAEA Member States, the Network enables national dosimetry standards to be traceable to the international system of units (SI).
This database is the IAEA’s information system on incidents of illicit trafficking and other unauthorized activities and events involving nuclear and other radioactive material outside of regulatory control.
