          NUCLEUS information resources

The IAEA's NUCLEUS information resource portal provides access to over 100 scientific, technical and?regulatory resources, including databases,?applications,?publications and training material. As it is mainly meant for IAEA counterparts in the government, industry and scientific community, NUCLEUS hosts a number of resources that require registration. Many sites, however, can be accessed without a password.

          Charged Particle Cross Section Database

The Charged Particle Cross Section Database is intended for medical radioisotope production and for diagnostic radioisotopes and monitor reactions.

          Clerval

Clerval is a database of institutions, events and curated data sets of relevance to nuclear fusion energy research, with an emphasis on fundamental atomic, molecular and plasma-material interaction data: its measurement, computation and evaluation. Data sets and events, such as conferences and workshops, can be browsed by keyword. Clerval also includes an interactive map of Institutions, such as national research laboratories and universities.

          Collaborating Centres Portal

The Collaborating Centres Portal provides Member States and the wider public with up-to-date information about active IAEA Collaborating Centres worldwide and their areas of collaboration.

          Computer Index of Neutron Data

CINDA is a database that contains bibliographic references to measurements, calculations, reviews and evaluations of neutron cross-sections and other microscopic neutron data.

          Contact Experts Group Database

This database is currently in the process of being transferred to the International Nuclear Information System (INIS). It has been developed to support informational exchange between the countries participating in the IAEA Contact Expert Group for International Radioactive Waste Projects in the Russian Federation (CEG).

          Country Nuclear Power Profiles

The CNPPs cover background information on the status and development of nuclear power programmes in countries with nuclear plants in operation or plants under construction, and in countries actively engaged in planning such programmes.

          COVID-19 NPP OPEX Network

The COVID-19 NPP OPEX Network provides a limited access platform for peer-to-peer sharing of COVID-19 related mitigating measures and impact on nuclear power plant performance: operation, maintenance as well as the implementation of refueling and maintenance outages. Intended users include plant operators and related organizations.

Database for Prompt Gamma-ray Neutron Activation Analysis

This database offers a variety of tables for all natural elements and includes the following data: isotopic composition, thermal radiative cross section (total and partial), Westcott g-factors, energy of the gamma rays (prompt and delayed), decay mode, half life and branching ratios.

Database on Discharges of Radionuclides to the Atmosphere and Aquatic Environment

DIRATA is a worldwide centralized electronic repository of records of radionuclide discharges to the atmosphere and the aquatic environment submitted voluntarily by countries. The database also includes historical discharge data collected by UNSCEAR, the European Commission and other international and national organizations.

          Direct Application of Phosphate Rock

This site is aimed at guiding decisions and providing recommendations on the use of phosphate rock (PR) as fertilizer, predict their cost-effectiveness as a source of phosphorus for crop productivity and its long-term sustainability and environmental consequences of using soluble P and phosphate rocks.

          DIrectory of RAdiotherapy Centres (DIRAC)

DIRAC is the world’s most comprehensive database on radiotherapy resources. It comprises current and historical global data on radiotherapy centres, teletherapy machines, brachytherapy units, treatment planning systems, computed tomography systems and simulators.

Disused Sealed Radioactive Sources Technical Centres Peer Review Service (DSRS-TeC)

DSRS-TeC is an expert service provided by the IAEA to bolster the assessment of current practices in the management of disused sealed radioactive sources (DSRSs), and to contribute to the sustainability of support activities as well as the continuous enhancement of these practices in the long term. It is designed to offer an independent international assessment and evaluation of DSRS management strategies and programmes, with a focus on topics related to the pre-disposal management of Category 3 to 5 DSRSs.
