These materials are designed for the training course on preparation, conduct and evaluation of exercises to test peparedness for a nuclear or radiological emergency. They contain information on: 1). emergency exercise concepts, terminology, preparation process, conduct and evaluation; 2). practical knowledge and the ability to prepare, conduct and evaluate an exercise to test national preparedness for a nuclear or radiological emergency; 3). example scenarios for exercises and knowledge on how to customize the standard exercise package, and to organize and conduct this customized standard exercise at the national level.
