          Description

          This international conference addresses some of the current issues being debated in relation to radioactive waste management, including: control of radioactive discharges to the environment;
          long term storage of radioactive waste; geological disposal of radioactive waste; management of disused radioactive sources. In addition, issues such as waste from past activities and events, public attitudes to radioactive waste, the involvement of stakeholders in decision making and the international regime for the safety of radioactive waste management are also addressed. A CD-ROM of contributed papers is included.
