EPREV services facilitate the development of national emergency response capabilities, consistent with the IAEA safety standards. An EPREV can be requested by any Member State.
A team of IAEA Secretariat and international experts assess national capabilities by comparing their arrangements with IAEA safety standards and worldwide good practices.
