Sustaining Nuclear Safety: Enhancing the Capacities of the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration and the Agency for Radioactive Waste Management in the Era of New Nuclear Technologies

To strengthen the capacity of the regulatory body (SNSA) and the implementing organization (ARAO) to effectively govern and oversee all aspects of nuclear and radiation safety, including enhancement of the SNSA’s ability to manage the lifecycle of nuclear power plants (siting, planning, construction, operation, closure, decommissioning, and long-term control); and to bolster the preparedness of these bodies to meet future challenges, specifically focusing on the commissioning phase of the Kr?ko LILW disposal facility.
