From Isotope Separation to Molecular Engineering: Advancements in Deuterium Applications
Member States Side Events
Deuterium, a stable isotope of hydrogen, has been predominantly used in heavy water reactors in the past century. With advancements in pharmaceuticals, electronics, fibre optics and other technologies, the applications of deuterium have expanded significantly. At this event, the latest developments in deuterium applications and the importance of deuterium in molecular engineering to achieve new specifications will be discussed. This event is organized by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This event will be held on Thursday, 28 September 2023, from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon in Conference Room M5, M Building, ground floor.
