This joint IAEA–United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) event will highlight how becoming party to and effectively implementing the Amendment to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material (A/CPPNM) and the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism (ICSANT) helps strengthen nuclear security worldwide, with States sharing their practical experiences in adhering to and implementing these key legal instruments. It will also showcase the available support provided by the IAEA and the UNODC to States. This event is organized jointly by the IAEA and UNODC.
