With 60 per cent of the world’s freshwater in transboundary waters, it is crucial for effective international cooperation and an integrated approach to manage shared water resources, especially in areas vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
Featuring the IAEA GloWAL network, the Sustained Dialogue on Peaceful Uses, and Morocco, this panel will highlight the growing need for global cooperation and the critical role of nuclear applications in managing transboundary water sources.
This event will demonstrate how we are better able to address data and knowledge gaps and strengthen water management capacity through global, regional and continental cooperation. This event is organized by the United Kingdom and Morocco.
