This event co-organized with Canada, Italy and World Nuclear Association (WNA) aims to share the progress of the work of the Denial of Shipment Working Group (DoS WG) and in particular the draft Joint Statement it developed based on acknowledgement of the essential elements of the international regulatory framework for the safe and secure transport of radioactive material by all mode.  The (DoS WG) has been established under the auspice of the IAEA in compliance with General Conferences’ resolutions in order to find solutions to facilitate the transport of radioactive material where shipment companies and other stakeholders face difficulties to properly implement such activity. This event co-organized with Canada, Italy and WNA aims to share the progress of the work of the DoS WG and in particular the draft Joint Statement it developed based on acknowledgement of the essential elements of the international regulatory framework for the safe and secure transport of radioactive material by all modes. This event is organized by France.
