Advanced Nuclear Renaissance: Accelerating Energy System Decarbonization
Member States Side Events
To meet decarbonization goals, nations need to move away from siloed thinking and consider the complex interactions of power, gas, heat and transport, as well as the different ways in which energy might be supplied, managed and consumed in the future in order to encourage a collaborative environment of policy, regulation and smart investment to unlock innovation and deliver tangible change. This event will explore the potential uses and roles of advanced nuclear technology in supporting a decarbonized energy system, in time to make a significant contribution to decarbonization by 2050. This event is organized by the United Kingdom.
This event will be held on Monday, 25 September 2023, from 5.15 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. in Conference Room M4, M Building, ground floor.
