Electronic resources

The IAEA Lise Meitner Library provides a comprehensive collection of electronic resources in nuclear science and technology and its related areas, including access to more than 60 databases and thousands of electronic journals as well as full-text subscription articles. A brief summary of each resource is provided below. Please note that access to certain resources is only available within library premises. In addition, the user agrees to respect and comply with all copyright notices as applicable to the various resources.

Contains all articles published by NucNet, global news and information network for the international nuclear community, from 1991 to the most recent date available. Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.

Union catalogue of millions of records and resources built on open access collections worldwide.

OAPEN

Full-text access to academic books in areas such as science, law and computing.

OECD iLibrary

Online library providing access to books, papers and statistics, including content published by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the OECD Development Centre, Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), and the International Transport Forum (ITF). Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.

OpenGrey

Open access to bibliographical references of grey literature produced in Europe on science, technology, biomedical science, economics, social science and humanities.

Oxford Reference Online Premium

Online reference product covering millions of digitized entries across Oxford University Press’s Dictionaries, Companions and Encyclopaedias, spanning 25 different subject areas. Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.

Patentscope

Access to patent documents including published international patent applications, maintained by the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Physical Review Online Archive (PROLA)

Provides access to the American Physical Society (APS) journal collection dating back to the first volume of each journal. Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.

The National Cancer Institute's comprehensive source of cancer information, including cancer information summaries on a wide range of cancer topics.

ProQuest Central

A comprehensive multidisciplinary source of scholarly, general and reference materials in the fields of social sciences, business, health sciences, science and technology, and many more. Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.

ProQuest Dissertations (PQDT Open)

Provides full-text of selected open access dissertations from mainly the U.S.

PubMed Central

Full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature from the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine.

ScienceDirect

A collection of full text journal articles published by Elsevier in science and other disciplines. Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.

Science, technology and engineering research information from the U.S. Department of Energy.

The Economist Intelligence Unit

U.S. Patent Full-Text Databases

Two full-text databases of patents and patent applications from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Ulrich's Periodicals Directory

Comprehensive information on more than 300,000 periodicals, including academic and scholarly journals, e-journals, peer-reviewed titles, magazines, newspapers and newsletters. Accessible within the IAEA Lise Meitner Library premises.
