Improving Crop Water Productivity and Nutritional Quality of Orchards

To increase fruit yields by at least 15-20% with a 30% increase in water productivity by adoption of the CRNS based soil water content monitoring and to develop procedures for efficient and ecologically friendly application of fungicides through the microirrigation systems (fungigation) adding 20% to fungicide efficiency and minimizing the risk of eventual chemical contamination of both the subsoil and the groundwaters.
