          The world-wide outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 impacted many industrial activities including the operation of Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities. The IAEA in cooperation with its Member States is closely monitoring the situation since the early phases of the pandemic and has collected essential operating experience in this respect. The IAEA shares the experience gained with the international nuclear community to further improve the safety of nuclear installations worldwide. This webinar will discuss some of the challenges faced by Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures which have and are being adopted by operating organizations and by regulatory bodies to ensure safe and reliable operation
