Barbara Dailey, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy, and Mr Hua Liu, IAEA Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Technical Cooperation, signed Dominica’s Country Programme Framework (CPF) for the period of 2025-2030 on 10 July 2025. A CPF is the frame of reference for the medium-term planning of technical cooperation between a Member State and the IAEA and identifies priority areas where the transfer of nuclear technology and technical cooperation resources will be directed to support national development goals.
Dominica has been an IAEA Member State since 2012. Its 2025-2030 CPF identifies the following priority areas:
- Human health and nutrition
- Food and agriculture
- Water resource and environmental management
- Energy
- Radiation safety
