David Smith is the Nuclear Security Coordinator for Forensics in the IAEA Division of Nuclear Security. He is also the Scientific Secretary for the International Conference on Advances in Nuclear Forensics: Countering the Evolving Threat of Nuclear and Other Radioactive Material out of Regulatory Control held in Vienna from 7 to 10 July 2014, and explains the purpose and desired outcomes of the Conference.
