          Press Arrangements for IAEA Board of Governors Meeting on Director General Appointment, Starting 2 July 2009

          2009/14

          The IAEA Board of Governors will convene a special meeting at the Agency′s Headquarters at 10:30 on Thursday, 2 July 2009, in the IAEA Boardroom, C04, at the Vienna International Centre.

          The special meeting is reserved for the selection procedure for the appointment of the Director General of the IAEA.

          The balloting procedure will be conducted in closed meeting.

          The meeting is closed to the press.

          Photo-Op:

          As this is a closed board meeting, there is no scheduled photo opportunity at the beginning of the morning session on 2 July. Possible opportunities during the day will be announced on the spot.

          Press Working Area:

          Journalists may use the press working area on C03 (for print press, radio and TV) starting from 09:00 on Thursday, 2 July 2009.

          Telephone Lines:

          There are telephone lines installed in the press area on C03. Please note that journalists requiring the use of telephones are advised to buy calling cards at the VIC Post Office or alternatively make use of a toll-free 0800-number for long-distance calls.
