The IAEA is partnering with Roche, a leader in oncology, to address the growing cancer epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa. As the cancer burden increases in developing countries, there is a major need for more healthcare professionals, hospitals and treatment facilities. To address the issue, Roche and the IAEA are working together to support the training of medical staff across the continent.
Both organizations invite you to learn about their joint cancer care initiative by participating in a phone conference on Wednesday, 28 April, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. CET (Central European Time). The teleconference will provide details regarding the joint initiative and reporters will be given time for questions.
