National Workshop on Conducting Nuclear Security Culture in Practice

The objective of this event is to enhance the participants understanding on the nuclear security culture concept and facilitate its application into practice; and to support Oman's national efforts to  promote and sustain a strong nuclear security culture. The event is intended mainly for decision makers and/or senior staff from national regulatory bodies and/or other organizations and institutions that are responsible for nuclear security, or that would be called upon to respond to a security event involving nuclear or other radioactive material, such as the military, police, border control, customs and other emergency response organizations. It is assumed that nominated participants will have a solid understanding of, or experience in, nuclear security. Participants should preferably be equally distributed between regulatory bodies, operating organizations, response organizations and supporting institutions.
