The Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK CEN) wants to build a Technology Demonstrator for lead-cooled small modular reactors (SMRs) in Mol, Belgium by 2035. The demonstrator is an essential step to pave the way for the deployment of lead-cooled SMRs. This will be developed within a European consortium with the support of several national partners. The event will demonstrate the importance of a European partnership combining research expertise with industrial know-how. This event is organized by Belgium.
