This event will present the latest innovations in multifunctional nuclear reactors and the modernized industrial chain in China to meet the growing need for energy while also eliminating carbon emissions. The Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute will showcase the spectrum of self-developed advanced nuclear reactors used for generating electricity, but also for district heating, process heat, desalination and hydrogen generation. The event will also present a roadmap for self-sufficiency while introducing advanced international concepts and technologies, and discussing experiences in building up national industrial capabilities. This event is organized by China.
