Welcome to the Soil and Water Management and Crop Nutrition Laboratory (SWMCNL) of the Joint FAO/IAEA Centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture. This laboratory develops nuclear and isotope techniques to improve the resilience of land and water management to climate change. Further, it works on the remediation of environmental pollution, including radioactive contamination, antimicrobial resistance, and microplastics in agricultural land.
