Ask the IAEA experts a question

Are you interested in nuclear science and technology? Have you always wanted to ask an IAEA expert a question about a specific nuclear technique? Do you wonder if nuclear technology can improve a field relevant to you? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, this challenge is the right one for you.

The IAEA invites you to send your question about the peaceful application of nuclear science and technology and how it improves different areas of life, including, but not limited to, food and agriculture, health, natural resource management, industry and energy.

Record your question as a short video, up to one minute long, and send it to the IAEA at askaquestion@iaea.org by 21 October 2018. IAEA experts will answer selected questions at the IAEA Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Science and Technology: Addressing Current and Emerging Development Challenge, which will be held at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna, Austria from 28 to 30 November 2018. The event will be livestreamed.

IAEA experts will preselect ten questions based on their originality and relevance to the topics discussed at the conference. A random number generator will be used to pick one of these preselected questions. The person who asked the question will be invited to attend the conference and personally ask the experts his/her question. The IAEA will cover the traveling and accommodation costs of the selected participant.
