The objective of the event is to ensure that States develop high quality and technically sound NUSIMS 2.0 self-assessment questionnaire that support national nuclear security assessments and, where relevant,  the development of Integrated Nuclear Security Sustainability Plans (INSSPs). Through practical engagement and guided completion of the questionnaire, participants will better understand the linkages between SAQ responses and possible nuclear security assistance; internalize good practices and quality-assurance measures when coordinating inputs across national stakeholders; and contribute to a consistent and comparable set of data that supports accurate assessments of national nuclear security frameworks and informs capacity-building effort at both the national and international levels.
