Regional Workshop on Drafting Computer Security Regulations
Member States have developed regulations for the safety and security of nuclear facilities, as well as radioactive material and associated facilities, including inspection programmes for compliance. Due to the increasing computer security threats to the nuclear industry, computer security regulations also need to be developed and implemented, at the State level, to ensure the protection of nuclear information and operations and to maintain the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of all nuclear and other radioactive materials, and associated facilities. This event will provide relevant information on the international instruments and IAEA recommendations to enhance national regulators with a framework and regulations for computer security that can be integrated into their existing regulations.
The IAEA Learning Management System will use used for all course materials for participants.
