          Technical Meeting on the Revision of Top Tier Nuclear Security Series Publications

          The purpose of the event is to present and provide a forum for participants to review and discuss the first draft revisions of the IAEA Nuclear Security Series(NSS) publications Objective and Essential Elements of a State’s Nuclear Security Regime (NSS No. 20), Nuclear Security Recommendations on Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and Nuclear Facilities (INFCIRC/225/Revision 5) (NSS No. 13), Nuclear Security Recommendations on Radioactive Material and Associated Facilities (NSS No. 14), and Nuclear Security Recommendations on Nuclear and Other Radioactive Material out of Regulatory Control (NSS No. 15), and to enable participants to provide feedback for their further enhancement.?All IAEA Member States and relevant international organizations are invited to participate in the meeting. The event primarily targets national policymakers, representatives from legislative bodies, competent authorities, institutions, as well as individuals and technical experts involved in the development, establishment, implementation, or maintenance of a national nuclear security regime. This includes those drafting regulations for the security of nuclear and other radioactive material, whether under or out of regulatory control, and their associated facilities and activities.?All IAEA Member States and relevant international organizations are invited to participate in the meeting.
