Workshop on Technological Readiness for Deep Borehole Disposal Options
The IAEA has launched a four-year Coordinated Research Project (CRP) to progress the international scientific and technical basis of the deep borehole disposal concept.
The expected outcome is to provide Member States with a comprehensive understanding of the present global state of art knowledge on DBD concepts and provide a basis on whether and how to pursue further national R&D studies towards implementing such a disposal concept.
