(Virtual Event) Technical Meeting on the Status, Design Features, Technology Challenges and Deployment Models of Microreactors

The purpose of the event is to provide a forum for information exchange and to disseminate knowledge on the status of the latest technology developments and design features of microreactors, while exploring technology challenges and deployment model options.

On the occasion of the meeting, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi hosted former US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, who is Co-Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) and Founding CEO of the Energy Futures Initiative, for a high-level virtual dialogue about microreactors.
