This guideline describes the procedures for mass-rearing a bisexual strain of Anastrepha ludens, considering the breeding colony, the mass-rearing process, packaging prior to irradiation, irradiation, management of environmental conditions, and the minimum biosafety conditions required for the entire facility and irradiation unit.
