The issue of capacity building for the successful development of national nuclear programs is of growing importance for global nuclear industry leaders. To effectively meet the pledge of tripling nuclear energy, the nuclear sector should adapt its approaches to capacity-building and ensure the resilience of the nuclear talent pipeline. Universities today are independent stakeholders, solving both industry challenges in terms of creating new products and technologies, and providing a platform for the development of international cooperation. New formats of cross-university cooperation and interaction with industry partners make it possible to not only ensure the transfer of the educational process to the territory of partner countries, but also contribute to the sharing knowledge of new technologies through educational programs and networking. Practical training of students plays a key role in this process.

How does cooperation between universities and industrial partners contribute to the development of practice-oriented learning? What are lessons learned so far?
