?Qué son las fuentes radiactivas?
Las fuentes radiactivas contienen material radiactivo de un radionucleido concreto, que puede variar en función de la aplicación para la que se fabricó la fuente. Estas fuentes emiten radiación ionizante, normalmente en forma de partículas alfa y beta, rayos gamma o radiación neutrónica.
