Radioactive Sources
Radiation is released by many different sources both natural and human-made. These sources may be part of materials we encounter every day or they may be packaged in containers for specialized uses in research, medicine or industry. Precautions must be taken in handling, using and storing packaged sources to prevent their loss or misuse.
