The objective of the course is to describe and discuss basic elements and major phases of the development and sustainable functioning of a nuclear security infrastructure for the realization of a national nuclear power programme.
The course is intended for managers involved in the establishment of sustainable nuclear security infrastructures for development and implementation of national nuclear power programmes. Familiarity with IAEA nuclear security series guidance documents would be an asset.As the course will be conducted in English, participants should have sufficient proficiency to follow presentations and discussions, to take part in practical exercises and to express themselves in this language without difficulty.
