          Introduction

          The IAEA Division of Nuclear Power is organising a second season of the webinar series titled “Innovation in Action: Real-World Applications in Nuclear Power.” This series will continue to highlight innovative use cases from the ISOP Innovation Awards, with this season focusing on submissions from 2025. The objective is to showcase deployed applications in the nuclear power industry. The second season will feature four separate webinars. The first will focus on robotics and drones and other innovations.

          Participants will have the opportunity to explore groundbreaking advancements and hear from leading experts in the field. These sessions will include presentations, videos broadcasting, and a Q&A session, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest technological developments and their deployment in operating nuclear power plants (NPPs).

          Objectives

          The purpose of the webinar series is to provide participants the opportunity to:

          • Gain insights into the latest innovations in the categories from the ISOP Innovation Awards.
          • Understand the practical applications of these innovations in the nuclear power industry.
          • Learn about the benefits, challenges and lessons learned associated with implementing these technologies.
          • Explore real-world case studies and examples presented by industry experts.
          • Engage in a Q&A session to discuss the implications and future potential of these innovations.
