According to the World Health Organization (WHO), malnutrition contributes to more than a third of all child deaths. The International Malnutrition Task Force (IMTF) aims to build capacity to prevent and treat child malnutrition. The IAEA supports the activities and goals of the Task Force through its nutrition programme. The IMTF is hosted by the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom and convened by Professor Alan Jackson.
