Nuclear Events Web-based System
NEWS is run by the IAEA and co-sponsored by the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD/NEA) and the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO). Events are communicated to the system by officially designated INES national officers worldwide. Over 75 designated National Officers at 70 INES participating countries are authorized to post reports and updates to NEWS.?
